Our Mackerel Reels are made from an all aluminum construction with stainless strippers and a self centering reel. This style of reel, stays on one side of your boat which allows you to move freely on your deck. Not only is this efficient, but is a lot safer than other styles of reels. It is mounted to the wash board with flush mout pockets which stay on permanently.
